Omigawd, Simpy is so cr*ppy compared with del.icio.us. It has ads, it's one of those sites that don't let you click the back button to get to your previous site, and the design is horrible & amateurish.

[...] Bookmark Publishing: del.icio.usBeside posts, a blog usually displays lists of things such as bookmarks or other blogs of interest—also known as blogroll. For managing such lists, you can use your social bookmarking tool of choice, be it del.icio.us, Diigo or Simpy. I started with del.icio.us, upgraded to Simpy, then recently moved back to del.icio.us, which seems to have the most streamlined user interface and allows me to publish bookmarks through JavaScript Linkrolls, without having to use FeedDigest in between. If you decide to use del.icio.us, just keep in mind that it works in batch mode, and that your Linkrolls might take up to 24 hours to be operative. [...]

[...] Collaboration features are goodPart of the value of storing your data online is that it enables collaboration with other people, as described in this article. For that reason, services that support document sharing and publishing will always get my preference over services that keep data to myself only, as long as they do it in a secure manner. In that respect, support for both public and private bookmarks was one of the primary reasons why I upgraded from del.icio.us to Simpy. [...]
