WebEx Connects the Dots

If you think of WebEx as a Web Conferencing company, you might be in for a surprise when you see a demonstration of WebEx Connect, which was announced yesterday. The New SAP

Can you name one of the top-3 software companies in the world that is developing some of the most advanced technology, offers one of the sexiest AJAX-powered user interfaces, develops successful partnerships within a fast-growing ecosystem of independent software vendors, is one of the most active contributors to the most widely used Open Source projects, and has one of the most loyal developer groups around? Demo Pods

In looking for the right pieces of equipment for the demo pods of our sponsors at the Office 2.0 Conference, we focused our attention on setups that would be easy to install, use, and resell after the event. Our initial idea was to get an Apple Mac Mini, an Apple 20” Cinema Display, a keyboard, and a mouse, but when the number of sponsors started to grow and approached 30, we realized that having to deal with four boxes for each setup would mean carrying 120 boxes around. Not exactly convenient. So we decided to go for the integrated and significantly more powerful Apple 24-inch iMac Core 2 Duo instead. About a Chap

Once upon a time, there was a chap who liked computers, databases, and cool little widgets that can be displayed in a web browser. He started writing about it, gave it yet-another-two-dot-zero-name that people could make fun of, and got a couple more chaps reading what he had to write about it.
