Thanks for the review. I have played with one and they are cool. As a BlackBerry user I can say that they missed the boat on the keyboard. Never could I type near as fast on the iPhone. Why they didn't allow the keyboard to flip landscape on the screen I don't know. It is just a software thing I would think. It also has no integration with Exchange, so they are not going to get me as a business user just yet. But... if they had a better keyboard and the equivalent of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server, I would be all over it.

Having said all that... I am looking to come down to your conference from Canada. Sadly.... nobody offers support for the iPhone just yet, so I guess I will have to opt for the PS3. Will we get to use an iPhone during the conference regardless?

Thanks

[...] When Steve Jobs first unveiled the iPhone back in February, I was immediately convinced that this device would turn into a great tool for Office 2.0. This belief got reinforced when Apple decided to use the built-in web browser as main development platform, thereby adopting a pure Office 2.0 approach for all application developments. After using the device for a couple of days, my first impressions exceeded my original expectations, and when time came to select a device that could be given to every attendee of the Office 2.0 Conference, our first choice naturally went to Apple’s latest creation. There were a couple of problems though: First, could we buy that many devices, knowing that we are expecting anywhere between 500 and 750 participants this year? Second, could we get the devices activated before people show up for the conference? Today, I am pleased to report that both problems have been solved, and that every participant to the Office 2.0 Conference will receive a shiny new iPhone. Here is what we will do with them.
Thanks for the mention Ismael. I am finding my new device extraordinary in how I interact with it for what used to be frustrating tasks. Although the client side applications may be limited, the browser capabilities with my personal CRM and other tools are liberating. As a serious business user, I believe that this iPhone will set a new standard for technology interaction and what is even more exciting is what is yet to come. As in a game of chess, Apple has made a bold move; let's see how the market will respond.
