I am organizing for my company Capgemini Netherlands a large Java event and we are also trying to keep it as paperless as possible. However, based on event organizing experience, I noticed that it's actually the participants who are still very attached to paper. They prefer a final confirmation by snailmail instead of email (it has also much more effect), they want to have a brochure or flyer in their hands with the schedule and some extra information...
