Monolab|Workspace San Francisco

Tuesday, August 5th 2008 | Ismael Ghalimi

While our Palo Alto space is filling up nicely, we’re starting to get more and more requests for a similar space in San Francisco. We gave our requirements to our real estate agent (Cornish & Carey), and they located some pretty cool properties. One of them in particular drew our attention, and I am happy to report that we might have found the perfect spot for the Monolab|Workspace San Francisco.

The space is located in SoMa, in a very quiet street, at a short walking distance from the Caltrain Station on 4th and King, and a couple of blocks away from the Intercontinental Hotel and the Metreon. It is currently occupied by a design agency, and has room for about 50 people. It is spread over three floors, with stunning indoor volumes and lots of meeting rooms, including a fantastic library on the second floor. The space is fully furnished, and could be turned into a Monolab|Workspace in a week or two. It can accommodate teams ranging from 1 to 20 people, with opportunities for creating several private areas, including two or three rooms that could be used for teams of 3 to 4 people.

At present time, we have prospects for about 10 workstations. As soon as we get another 20 or so, we will be in a position to take a short-term lease on the property, giving us time to put everything together for actually buying the building as part of Phase I of our ambitious development plan. If you’re looking for Class A office space in downtown San Francisco, complemented by top of the line equipment and services, we want to hear from you, and the sooner the better.
