Office 2.0 Conference Website Now Live
Tuesday, July 17th 2007 | Ismael Ghalimi
The website for the upcoming Office 2.0 Conference is now live at the o2con.com url, short enough to be typed from a mobile device. We opened attendee registration, press registration, and hotel reservation. We also issued a first call for speakers and started a conference blog.
The website has been developed using the very latest release of Jive Software’s Clearspace (version 1.3.0). This collaboration platform is extremely powerful, yet very easy to use. If you’re looking for an enterprise-grade blogging platform, you can think of Clearspace as some kind of WordPress on steroids. And if you want a wiki tool with advanced community management features, look no further, for Clearspace will do the job, and much more.
At this point, we’ve just scratched the surface of what’s possible with this tool, so we’ll make sure to report on our progress as we go along. In the meantime, please register to the site, and see for yourself. The website’s content remains fairly limited today, but we will provide regular updates as our track directors make progress signing speakers up and refining the content of the various sessions they are working on.
Many thanks to Barry for helping us set everything up. See you in San Francisco!

Just an FYI, when I added your feed in BlogLines, your blog had no title.
Svend,
Thanks for the notice, I’ll take a look.
Best regards
