Extreme Productivity Seminar Slides

Saturday, March 29th 2008 | Ismael Ghalimi

The first Extreme Productivity Seminar took place yesterday, and based on the feedback we received so far, the concept worked. We managed to cover the entire agenda on time, and everybody was able to build some pretty cool custom objects in Salesforce.com, and some basic integration scenarios with Gmail and LinkedIn. As promised, here are the slides we used for the event.

Your seminar was fantastic!”
 – Oliver Starr

The Extreme Productivity Seminar really helped me improve my existing GTD setup. Much recommended to get more done in less time.”
 – Sebastien Stadil

Having a good tracking system for opportunities, portfolio companies, and managing time in general is critical for running a venture firm well. I looked at and experimented with just about everything. Ismael’s approach to Extreme Productivity is the only system I’ve seen that combines the ease of use and power that I was looking for. Highly recommended and very thought-provoking.”
 – Mike Maples

Ismael is an inspiration. The fact that he is able to accomplish an enormous number of activities without stress is a testament to his discipline and organization. If you are already familiar with the principles of GTD, and want to learn how you can take your practice of it to the next level, I urge you to take a serious look at his Extreme Productivity Seminar.”
 – Thomas Jones

Ismael takes a daunting number of tasks and projects, and processes each with impressive efficiency. His seminar presents his productivity management techniques in a way that is accessible to everyone, and easy to implement using common tools. I believe in the core techniques so much that I have given Ismael’s presentation twice with our organization. Highly recommended seminar.”
 – Seth Taylor

Before you go through the slide deck (Full PDF), please keep in mind that it was designed to support a series of practical exercises to be completed by all participants, rather than presenting all the concepts for Extreme Productivity into a standalone presentation that could be consumed online. Nevertheless, this deck should serve as a good introduction to the seminar.

Building on this first success, we are in the process of scheduling future sessions. The next one will take place in Palo Alto again, towards the end of May, followed by another one in Austin, TX sometime in June. We might also have one in London, UK later in the year. If you’re interested, please drop me a line.

Hi Ismael,

Really loved the seminar. Lots of great productivity tips and insights into your implementation of it. I especially liked that your approach is very flexible, and you showed us how to tune it to our own requirements.

Thanks

Dear Ismael:

I have just discovered your blog (shame on me), however I subscribed immediately.

Regarding your Extreme Productivity Seminar, how about a web conference or alternative for those of us not on your regular travel route? I am located in Australia, and yes, I have an instance of Salesforce.com.

Any thoughts?

Matt,

I’ll be in Australia early next year. Where are you based?

Do you know other people there who might be interested?

Best regards
 -Ismael
